Both of us enjoy music and dance tremendously! We individually found out about Herb and Kathy’s classes through a mutual friend. Not knowing what to expect, and scared to venture out by ourselves, each of us dragged friends along to that first fateful class. Initially, there was a feeling of being overwhelmed thinking, "how did that first dance go?" We each went home to practice, practice, practice, and have been Hooked on Country since! Little did we know, we would become fast friends, getting into mischief whenever possible!

We have been line dancing with Kathy and Herb for a little over a year now, and love every minute of it! Kathy & Herb are AWESOME instructors, full of excitement and energy that is definitely contagious.

Joining the Demo Team has been a thrill! The Demo Team is a wonderfully talented and friendly group of folks that we are enjoying getting to know through our shared love of dance. We have gained lasting friendships with the other dancers, and have taken on the nicknames "Laverne and Shirley" because of our crazy antics! We have so much fun laughing and dancing, and have even been known to finish each other’s sentences! We drive our families crazy blaring country music and wearing out the carpet!

Line dancing is not only a great form of exercise and stress relief, but we are able to give back to our local communities through charity events and through performing for residents at local nursing care centers, which is very rewarding and crazy fun! Love it! Love it! Love it!

If Laurie had her way, every day would start off with Ski Bumpus… and Sherry would be right behind her laughing the whole time!
